On May 8th, Confindustria Varese hosted the final conference of the LIFE RecOrgFert PLUS project. The event brought together representatives from the industrial, academic, and institutional worlds to share the main results of the project and discuss the issues of innovation and sustainability in agriculture.
After the opening greetings and an introduction on Confindustria Varese’s support to European projects, LIUC – Cattaneo University presented the agreement with the JRC in Ispra. SBS Steel Belt Systems, the project leader, illustrated the activities carried out and the results achieved.
Two round tables discussed the project’s environmental impacts, technical innovations, and application prospects. Experts in the agronomic, technical, and scientific fields participated.
In closing, Tinexta Innovation Hub and Confindustria Varese offered an overview of the opportunities offered by the European LIFE calls for proposals and the tools to support the circular economy.
