The LIFE RecOrgFert PLUS Project banner has been displayed in the Zolfital offices. The banner is a great example of the commitment that has been put in the development process by the Partners.
Zolfital started in 1966 when the state monopoly regime of “Ente Zolfi Italiani” was abolished, serving as a service company for all major Italian sulphur consumers: Snia Viscosa, Chatillon, Cisa Viscosa, Rumianca e Montedison. Zolfital started its activity by supplying Sulphur in Italy.
Its role is gradually being replaced in the industrial sector, as sulphur extraction has been abandoned and shifted towards petroleum refining or importing.
